Lennox International is Hiring an Electrical Engineering Technician III Near Carrollton, TX

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Under liberal supervision, assist Electrical Engineers in planning and testing of electrical/mechanical components. Preparing electrical components for testing using advanced test equipment.

Equipment includes,

  • Environmental Chambers
  • Oscilloscope
  • VOM
  • Surge Tester
  • Electrostatic Discharge Tester
  • Data Acquisition Equipment
  • Programable Power Supplies

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A two year degree or equivalent is preferred
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills working with Engineers and the ability for critical thinking.
  • Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans.
  • Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints and models.

The ability to:

  • Devise and fabricate test fixtures.
  • Follow lab test procedures.
  • Program automated test stations.
  • Generate wiring diagrams for testing set up.
  • Work with Excel, Word and PowerPoint at a highly proficient level.
  • Write clear and concise test report results.
  • Analyze data and determine pass/fail based on acceptance criteria.
  • Work with voltages at a PCB level up to 575 vac, three phase.
